My name is Carlos Llorente (b. 1981). Also known as Blastto.
Senior Designer. 15+ years in operation. Media, entertainment, experimental visual communication. My practice spans visual identity systems, art direction, motion design, typography, and emerging technologies, combining strategic thinking with a strong focus on craft.
Since 2019, I have been working as Lead Brand Designer at Movistar Plus+, where I create visual identities, opening sequences, and broadcast design systems for original productions, documentaries, and live sports coverage
Alongside my design practice, I explore electronic music as BLASTTO™ performing across Europe for more than two decades, from underground clubs to international festivals such as Sónar. I am also the founder of Club Graphics®, an editorial project dedicated to documenting and preserving the graphic heritage of Spanish club culture.
My work has been featured in publications such as It's Nice That and Creative Review, and I regularly share my experience through talks, workshops, and educational programs focused on design, experimental typefaces and generative AI.
